Hello everyone,

Came off the bike today in the wet Sad nothing major, low sided it going slow in the wet but anyway, riding it off and the handlebars are out of line with the front wheel like you get on pushbikes.

The forks aren't obviously bent but is there anything else it could realistically be?

I didn't hit anything and it was only a low speed scrape down the road at <20mph so i wouldn't have expected it.

It rides okay just wonky handlebars as I say.

Apart from the forks there's a scrape on the front mudguard, melted trainer on the exhaust and back fairing, and scraped and bent brake lever.

I'm all good too, bruised and grazed knee with a sore calf but nothing a night's sleep won't sort.

Another one for the spill counter anyway Thumbs Down

Loosen the yokes, twist them back straight and tighten it back up.

What bike is it?

if your sure the bars arn't just bend, it could be that the forks have twisted in the yolks, loosen the bottom triple clamps and stand in front of the bike with the front wheel between your legs lean over and grab the bars and try to put them in the center with respect to the front wheel.

If that does not do it you couls try running the front wheel square into a wall fast walking pace with the lower triple clamps loose.

HTH

In that case, your forks are made of mild cheddar.

Tosser Very Happy

On relatively close inspection they do just seem twisted. Thing handled it pretty well it seemed. Rode across town now and all seems okay just the wonky bars which will sort tomorrow I reckon. And no fairings scraped whatsoever Very Happy
