Murder victim's head found in bin

A man has been decapitated and his head dumped in a wheelie bin outside a house in North Manchester.

Officers were called to a property on Parkhill Avenue in Crumpsall at about 2120 GMT on Monday.

The victim, who has not been formally identified by police, is believed to be in his 60s. A post-mortem examination is due to take place later.

A man, also from the Crumpsall area, has been arrested and is being questioned by detectives.

A spokeperson for Manchester City Council said that although the council was responsible for the removal of dead animals they had to be put into the correct recycling bin on the correct day.
"A gentleman has been arrested in connection with this matter and one we have establised the facts he will be fined for incorrect use of the recycling recepticals and for putting his bin out before it is due. Collection is on a Thursday in this area and this information is widely available so there is no excuse for flouting the regulations. "

Sometimes the thin line between taking a news story and making stuff up at the end in desperation to be seen as funny, and actually being funny... almost disappears. Middle Finger Wink

It's a fine line between sick joke and just sick, twisted and nasty.
