Include distance travelled in cars, on bikes, lorries, anything with at least 2 wheels and an engine,
provided YOU were the driver/rider.

Have a rough estimation of how far altogether you have been sat down driving/riding a vehicle.

Post said distance! Smile

I have just turned 20, have been on the road nearly 4 years, and I can say around 30k car, 10k bike.

So a total of 40k miles for me. Thumbs Up

Rough guess, 450k car, 50k bikes. And about 50 miles in a plane Smile

That's over a 25 year period.

Hi

Mmmm. Quick session with a spreadsheet to work it out. Works out at about 500000 miles over 20 years, a bit over half by car and the rest by bike. But been riding a bike for longer than I have been driving a car.

All the best

Keith

I'm 19 and i've done the following -

Moped - 8000ish miles
1st 125 - 26000 km (so whats that, about 18k miles?)
2nd 125 - 7500 miles
bandit 4 - 3000 miles roughly

So that would be 36,500 miles since i turned 16 (1st july 2005 - 20th june 2008)

At a reasonable guess, I know roughly what mileages I bought and sold my cars and bikes at, and what mileage I did on a daily/weekly basis at work so:

Bikes about 65,000
Cars about 63,000
Vans about 300,000
Trucks about 87,000

So roughly 515,000 since 2001 and i'm 24, not too bad.

I will work this out in greater detail during the day, as its actually quite an itneresting concept... however for now i would guess:

About 30,000 in vans
About 1000 in cars
and about 90,000 on bikes

Thats in 5 years biking
and 1 year driving.

Im 21.
