Well here is the Bandit a couple of weeks ago, this is without the Jack Up Kit, Hugger, and without the tank missing.

The only bits I had done up to this point is fit the new levers, grips, Choke cable, clutch cable, clean the brake calipers, remove the rear cowling and original undertray which is being chopped up at the moment, and fitted new footpegs.

I have now fitted the jack up kit (makes a bit of difference to the looks), removed the tank for respraying, fitted some nice mini indicators to the front, and am currently making my own personalised seat cover!!!, have put the mounts on for the hugger but wont attach it until its painted, removed the grip which is rolled up in one of the pics, removed the chain guard, ordered a chrome frame inserts, and a chrome cover for the front cooler/radiator,I am sure there is more.......cant think at the moment.

If I think of any more I will let you know.

Mike.

PS. The dog is my friends and its called Tilly. (Aaaahhhh! Smile )

Nice, but I really don't like the headlights. Get a couple of nice big round ones. Smile

Cool Nice bike Shocked . So tell me, when you have done it all up do you intend to ride it or sel it. It looks way too nice to ride. How much have you spent doing your bike up? And how much will it cost me to get one of those things? Very Happy

tbh it looks like a standard Bandit6 at the moment bar the headlights. Stick on the nose fairing/lights you've got, jack up the rear, add a race can some nice paint to it, bolt kit and modify the rear end and it'll start lookin like a streetfighter.

Well as I said the picture is from about 2 Weeks ago, and since I have done a lot of other bits, however there is not alot I can do until it gets painted. Trust me it will look ten times better when its finished.

There is still so much work to do on it but the bike is not actually near where I live, so I can only go up on the weekends to work on it.

The headlight picture is just a test of what it would look like with one of the headlight units I bought from Demon Tweaks. I admit it looks really shit on the Bandit, Its only balancing on their with a screwdriver underneath. I much rather the headlight in the bottom picture however I didnt realise when I ordered it that its not road legal. Confused

I have spent roughly £300 on parts and havent even bought a quater of the stuff I want.

Just watch this space, my next idea is fitting a new rear end like a Ducati 748 seat unit or something else beautiful, possibly an MV rear end?? Not sure yet but I know it means modifying the sub frame.

I will post some more piccies soon of it up to date.

Mike.
