The head cover, otherwise known as the water jacket (although technicaly incorrect) appears to become the most brittle material known to man after 20 years of use.

Mine's broke, so I'm looking for a replacement for my MTX. I can't find one for love nor money. The local bike shop could only import one from Japan for megabucks. There must be a used one somewhere.

Any suggestions on where to pick one up?

I'm actually doing that too. It seems this part is quite rare.

I've had one reply from partfinduk, one guy wanted £50 for it - He's obviously too aware how rare it is. None of the breakers I've tried have one in either.

Looks like I'm going to have to make more attempts at fixing my current one.

Post pictures of the damage. It's amazing what can be fixed with a little thought.

Cheers.

The cylinder head covers on a MTX125 are different (12301-KE1-000) to that of a 200 (12301-KJ1-000).

I've got a mate with a box full of MTX125 bits. He might have one. How much you willing to pay for one?

Have you got any other MTX200 bits that you would like to sell?
