 |
|
I was riding as usual this morning, changed up from first to second and all of a sudden it felt like i had gone into neutral, but the gearbox was making some loud smashing sound and wouldnt go down/up gears..
felt like it exploded basically.
havent had it checked out yet but im guessing it needs a new gearbox, i have a honda cd250 1993 model and parts for it are quite hard to get hold of as a whole bike breaking...
would this gearbox from a cb 250 fit?

any help let me know please!
thanks very much

no its all ok there, the chain had become very slack, and when going over a steep hill and over the crest at the top at a bit of speed while changing gear made the chain jump off.
i didnt realise how bad the slack was, its all tightened now!
thanks again ____________________ Yamaha RXS 100 > Honda CD 250 > Honda Hornet 600 > Honda CBR 600RR > Yamaha RXS 100 > Kawasaki ZX6R J2 > Yamaha FZ1 |
