Hey

I am getting pretty cold hands on the way to work... I do about 45 mins each way (mostly on the motorway) and my recelty purchsed 'winter' gloves (and thermal inners) aren't cutting it.

So I am looking for some handlebar muffs. To hell with the look, I am cold! And was hoping if someone who does use them could tell me how it affects the controls?

I don't have much of a budget, so I am looking at some off ebay or the Motrax ones...

Any advice is most welcome!

Ta in advance

I got a pair of Oxford ones from ebay. They were about £20.

I found that they kept my hands nice and warm, probably because they are wind resistant. I did find it a bit awkward to use the indicator button, but other than that found them pretty usable.

I had to take them off though because it looked like I had a pair of wings attached to the bike. I hardly ever spend any more than 20 mins on the bike so they weren't really worth it for me. Plus I had the constant muff jokes to contend with.

If I was doing a commute like yours I wouldn't think twice.

Thanks fatsamurai

Well, I don't use my indicators much any ways Smile

And while I'm on a VFR NC30, so will look like a bit of a cock, at least I will be able to feel my hands when I get to work. Which would be nice...
