Bike making clunking noise when going through gears?wondering if theres something wrong?

It's a kawasaki, they do!

Seriously though it could be the cush drive in the rear hub causing chain lash, it could be just chain lash full stop. Could be an insufficiently lubed or excessivly tight chain causing knock around the front sprocket, esepcially noticable when pulling away?

Try providing a bit more info as "a clunking noise" is a bit vague. And also try posting in the Workshop.

knackered gearbox, or prob more likely in need of a new chain and sprockets,

you mite as well open an account with kawasaki as you will be needing more parts for the zxr in the near future Laughing

Its just had a new chain and sprocket.it sounds like the chain clunking when changing gear.Bike is 1994 and 30 k miles
