Anyone got or owned one? Experiences?

Cheers.

I've had three, two of them S-lines all of them S-tronic.

Not much to say really. Well made, plenty of space in them. Options can get expensive, its £250 just for the arm rest, so get one as loaded as you can.

The wheels on the S-line are stupidly easy to scrape.

Got a Mk5 Golf. So close enough.
Driven plenty of A3's at work too.

I'd personally love one! If my Golf is anything to go by then they are amazing motors. Solid as!

Cheers, it needs to have black leather, preferably black leather and alcantara, but there seems to be a few about. Not too fussed about too much other stuff as they seem to come quite well specced as standard. Xenon lights would be nice though.

Are the S line wheels the 20 spoke 18s? They are gorgeous. Very Happy

My best mate has had a brand new one every six months for the last 3 or 4 years.

The 2.0 Diesel engine is strong (Although just not as good as the 2.0D in the 120d) and the build quality far surpasses any of it's rivals.

As Top Gear seems to mention every week, all modern Audis have rock hard suspension, but if your looking at buying an Audi then it's what you expect. If you wanted slushy handling you'd buy a Merc right?

All in all, it's a much better car than any other in it's class IMO, and I'm a die-hard BMW fan. The 1 Series is OK for a courtesy car to twat about in, but if I were to buy a car in that class it would be the A3 everytime.

I can have a very good guess where he works then Wink Changing every six months means you get to try out quite a few cars but its a PITA to take them back. During the summer I'm lucky if I manage to clock up 2000 miles in the car.

Personally I prefer Alcantara to full leather, nicer feel just harder to keep clean. Most Audis come will very little as standard, they are well known for it. Most secondhand cars have probably had £1500 - £2k worth of options fitted, its the biggest difference between Skoda-Seat-VW-Audi.
