I have looked on ebay but there no similar ones for sale.

It's a H reg with 19,000 miles.10 mths mot 7 mths tax.
2 owners with all reciepts.Immaculate cond.
It also has a full remus SS exhaust system fitted, but he also has the original system.

Theres a 99 ish model one for sale on ebay and that's only 1k so i'm guesing this one is about the right price?

Any common problems to watch out for?

Also,is the 92 model a katana or is that the newer/older ones?

Thanks
Dave

I thought that the term 'Katana' for GSXF's was something from the US?

Nothing really wrong with them other than the standard poor corrosion resistance of Suzuki's and the poor fit of some of the trim. Nothing exciting but pretty reliable. A little on the heavy side at about 200kg but a fairly respectable 100(ish) BHP.

Price isn't too bad, I'd try for closer to £500 for the hell of it.

Katana was used for a fair number of Suzuki models in the '80's. The US got Katana for the GSXF in the '90s and we got it for a scooter.

I had one around that age - it had been stood a while so had to have the carbs cleaned out (cut out and wouldn't run right before I had this done), it leaked a bit of oil and had a massive flat spot at around 4k because of an aftermarket G Force exhaust system. Was very comfy, nice smooth and stable handling, and pretty rapid once you get above 6k.

Brakes weren't great but mine could probably have used a bleed and service. Really nice gearbox, heavy clutch compared to recent bikes. Good weather protection, I got a lot of helmet buffet though with both the standard and a flip up screen due to the upright riding position.

Quite under-rated bikes imo.

Rode one once and thought it was very good...much better than it's 600cc sibling.

If you've got any spare cash get the forks rebuilt. Front ends on those bikes are dangerous even when new.

Nice! That's just like my old one, same colours. Mine didn't have those nifty recessed indicators or the pillion seat cowl though.

By the way, not sure how loud that Remus is, but if you fancy a loud end can I still have the G Force can from my old bike.

It's a bugger isn't it. My fuel consumption was quite low at 30mpg after a motorway cruise, so I think someone may have dinojetted mine and not had it set up right. It really did go like shit off a shovel above 6/7k though, so I guess that was the trade off!
