Got a prob

Hey, well the prob is that i had a accident with my old scooter which is a yamaha maxster xq125 and the insurance won't repair it but would give me 182 quid for it.... i might aswell take the bike back and repair it my self. but the thing is im stil taking driving lessons and only on my 9th lesson. don't have enought cash to get a car but i do for another scooter or so. i have a minimum budget of 400 quid to get one but is there a way to rent a scooter for 3 months or so ? or if any of you motorbike riders are selling ur old scooters please tell me!.

personally, I'd finish learning to drive, get your license then get another scoot.

Even if you don't drive for a month you will get worse, so you'll end up spending more money that way.

Unless of course you need transport completley.

I take it that £182 was their 1st offer.

Turn it down and look for a few examples in say bike trader which show a far more realistic value.
Then go back to them with the evidence and say up the value.

Renting a bike/scooter is not a cheap option and over 3 months will proberly cost you more than buying one would.

If you are planning on getting rid of scooter when you have passed car test and getting a car, then why not push on faster with the driving lessons and get your test passed.
