engine numbers :s

im doing up a moped at the moment and im going to polish the crankcase but this will cause the engine numbers to vansih , im going to try and polish that area as lightly as possible to try and keep them intact but doubt it will help much

whats the legal low-down on this shiz niz ?

you will have to do some polishing to remove them.
use 1200 grit or similar then polish

Why not just polish them out then get them re-stamped if you're that fussed.

as i said. 1200 grit wet and dry with a bit of soap and water, them polish. why dont you try it on the last number and see what happens.

On all the MOT's I've had (3) they've never checked engine number... they check frame number but that's about it...

Think the NC30 actually has a different engine to the one registered... Meh.

They're also not written down in the slot that it should be.
