I remember on NFS: Most wanted I had a Gallardo with a paintjob that looked textured like tarmac, in a matt colour and it looked the bomb, proper stealth supercar.

If Lamborghini saw that picture I imagine they'd refuse to sell him another car. Someone need shooting for that. Still I'd like to see him cry when he tries to sell it...

The Lambo is wrong.

The Maserati (at least I think that's what it is) above is even wronger.

Camo is cool, but only on hotrodded 1930's Fords, and Landrovers.

Lamborghini = Sick
Maserati = Hideous

I presume the Maserati is in the UAE? They ain't afraid of chucking $$$ at a car over there, and every one of them looks god damn awful. How can people with that much money have such bad taste?

The Quattroporte is probably the best looking saloon car on the market today, but seriously WTF is that all about?

I think whoever did that to the Maserati deserves a bullet. In the face.

I wouldn't, he probably has several RPG's in the boot Very Happy

Iirc i read somewhere that in the eastern countries that are really dry, well they are basically un-resaleable (if thats a word Laughing ) as the sand just attacks them. Aparently you find all sorts of luxury cars out in the desert, ferraris, bentleys, lambos, maseratis etc...just left to rot away and be sand blasted basically. Not sure how much truth there is in that though.

I don't think its that bad, but the sand does get everywhere. A guy on a merc forum a couple of years back had some twin air filter jobby - thats two in a row, for double filtration. Despite this he still had half an inch of fine sand sat in the bottom of his airbox every 4000 miles.
