Hi,

I own a Honda CBF150, The bike was run is extremely rash condition. Due to ignorance the engine oil in the sump dropped below the required minimum, since then the engine is shooting up some noise.

Plz tell me how can i rectify the same.. Will i be able to rebore the cylinder and replace with a higher capacity piston?

Hi, you might get some help if you post your question in the Workshop section, and tell them where the noise is coming from..top..bottom left right etc.

Thx a lot...

When i consulted a local mechanic, he said its because of the scratches formed in the cylinder.

That why an idea popped up to rebore the engine and pep it up with some additional power too..

Doubt its the cylinder, check everything else first though its hard to say without hearing the noise.
repost it in the workshop like howling suggested

Bottom end knocking....
Doubt you can rectify it, only have the engine apart and replace the cacked parts Laughing

Crankshaft big end bearing sounds like, I dont get where the pot scratched and rebore comes in to it?, is it burning oil?
