Require my VFR forks straightening but am struggling to find anyone local.

Does anyone have any recommendations, preferably in the midlands. But if not, who accept postage of them..

Thanks!

do you know how they straighten them? its literally 2 vee blocks and a fly press.

take it to any engineering shop and ask them to do it, chances are they'll charge less as it only takes about 20 minutes to do if you're taking your time.

if not, i dont mind taking them to a shop near me if you send them over... they charged £20 for the pair when i had the RXS100 forks done.

https://cmsmotorcycles.co.uk/

give them a go, chances are if you get in contact, you'll be able to send it to them and they can send it back.

i had to deliver some stuff to an engineering firm in Stringes Lane Walsall today (small clean modern brick built unit by memory)....

i think it's on the corner of Alma St and Stringes lane (i know it's almost opposite Church St)

use google maps and zoom in, i use firefox so any link may not show up correctly
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=stringes+lane+walsall&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=image

all they do is straighten stuff, the bars i took were about 300mm long by 40-50mm thick solid case hardened bar ...

send me a pm to remind me to get thier phone number and address, you never know they might be prepared to sort your forks

ok this is the company ...

John Macnab
Tel: 01902 631159 - Broadway Wks Stringes La, Willenhall, West Midlands, WV13 1LD

you'll have to strip the forks out and disassemble them obviously (also will save you money regardless) , no guarantee they'll take the job on or how much they'll charge if they do...

but a phonecall won't cost you much
