I have a sukida 125 automatic 4 gear bike i was driving along the other day doing about 40 when it felt like the brakes had applied and tugged back but then nearly straight away revs went back up then it jolted again it keeps doing this now and also sounds quite rough any ideas Thanks

Were you hitting the rev limiter? Was it soon after filling up with petrol?

When the engine hits the top revs there's a restriction there, feels like there's no more oomph left, change gear and it'll carry on accelerating then.

its carbed right?

could be carb icing. try sdome redex or similar in the tank and see if it helps.

Hav you adjusted the clutch? Another possibility is the clutch rollers, they wear and dont work progressively.

Lob a new plug in, sounds like it is either misfiring or you have got fuel starvation.

Im having same probs with my CBR 125 - 06 model, 6 gear manual.

I have been told it could be condensation in tank (water mixing with fuel)///(some petrol garages put a tiny amount of water in pumps too apparently), carb issues or fuel line is kinked and starving engine of fuel.

it usually jolts around 4-5k revs for about 3 seconds drops a lot of revs and then shoots off again.
