as both the bike and I were sliding down the road, I found i was laughing to [read:at] myself. Its been a long time since I found myself lying in a ditch 
I seen it coming, and I just thought I'd minimise the damage, lay it down as best I could and enjoy the ride/slide. Our lane is 3/4 mile long, downhill and ungritted - following rain then -3 overnight.
My own bloody silly fault - but now my wife's FJ11 sports some go faster scrapes down the engine bars and exhaust.
Must admit, I was impressed with the distance we both slid for such a low speed spill - gravity endunced distance.
