Indicator MOT question

[satelliteone]

Im lost on this, a m8 said i need indicators for an MOT. for a Suzy GP125. Is this true?, not MOT`ed a bike for years, and i dont know the law on it anymore. The last time i MOted a bike, if they were not installed then it would pass. Has the law changed regarding motor bikes now? Is it that no ones sticks there arm out? WTF..lol

Thanks in advance if im sounding a bit dumb..

Hi

Depends on the age of the bike. If the bike was first registered on or after the 1st August 1986 then it must have indicators (couple of other exceptions, but nothing relevant for the GP).

All the best
