Hi.
Last saturday at 10.30 i took delivery of my new (to me) 54 plate silver ZZR 600 and watched my old L reg one get tied in the van in part ex.

GREAT !!!!

this saturday, at 8.30 my nice new shiny zzr600 became not so nice new and shiny.
there was a huge section of black ice on the road and once both wheels were in it i went down on the floor and slid, breaking all of the fairings on the right and snapping off my foot rest.

so, i have 2 questions really.
does anyone know where i can get some foot rests from for the ZZR 600 E? one standard one would be best. but otherwise, do any of oyu know links to places where i could get a pair of aftermarket ones? and i'll tart it up a bit instead.

also, aer there any good plastic repair products out there (instead of rip ties and gaffa tape! which will be plan B) which i could use to fix my front fairing until i can find a replacement on ebay or something.

thanks
caum.

Having non snapped fairing inners on a ZZR is a curse you see Wink

Take a trip down to your local breakers before you start handing money over elsewhere imho, it's a long running popular bike so you shouldn't have issues finding bits for it. Otherwise it's ebay time.

it is .... the fact i bought the bike with a 3 year loan and haven't made my first payment yet! makes me want the bike back to the condition it was in last week and not cracked or broken - cos my last one was like that and that's part of the reaosn i chose to change it.

i'll phone around the local breakers and those listed in MCN monday maybe and see if i can get anything anywhere.

thanks.

Ebay is your friend - always a couple of E's being broken on there. I got a few bits for mine from there after I binned it - had to resort to a stealership for a generator cover though.

thanks for all of the replies - i have to change the front fairing, but the rest i might just buy and keep until the whether improves a bit like said on here often, just in case.

thanks for that link too - but i need the pegs and the hangers not just the peg - it snapped the whole thing off.

i can get one off ebay for £35 - ouch. but if that's the cost i spose.
