Ive been lucky and found a cancellation to re-take my bike test on Monday.!!

But can somebody please check something for me.

The confirmation letter has just arrived and it say:
"I am pleased to confirm the details of your A - BIG BIKE practical driving test appointment.

This is the DAS test isnt it??

Ive booked it myself this time but last time the instructor did it last time.

Hoping for a bit of luck this time.

Good luck on the test.

For future referance, what it says on the letter doesn't particulaly matter. My test confirmation came through as A1 - light motorcycle where as i thought i had clicked A2. I got there uber early and explained to the examiner just as he was walking into work and he said aslong as your bike is capable of doing the A2 test (62mph) then it won't be a problem. He just selected A2 on his green sheet thingy.

He was reluctant to let me go out on my bike though as it had about 10.5hp (XT125X) and he had to ring yamaha or something because aparently your bike must have about 12hp or something daft Confused

Anyway, thats not an issue for you but good luck on your test. Take it easy as it could be icey out and just relax. What time is your test by the way? (hopefully all of the ice/frost will of gone by about 10ish

Slippery roads wont be a problem for me as I am going to be very much a dry weather only biker (summer months only)

I only took the test in winter to avoid having to do the new test.

I much prefer to be in my car with the heater turned to full..! Embarassed

Well done that man, and because i passed my test before you (4wks ago !) i can say this. Do ride in the wet. It will help your future ride-outs. You're only as good as your last ride.

Great feeling innit? I loved snapping my L-plates
