What a morning :(

So left early about 7:30 only to find my road hadn't been gritted again

The bl00dy pavements were all done but the road was just white so managed to slip and slide to the main road and off i went.

Then my sodding contact lense drops out and fortunately lands on my tank. So as i'm at a set of lights i think ok i'll pull over after the lights and pop it back in.

Lights go green engine stops arghhhh ! Mad paddling to the side of the road getting beeped at by multiple car drivers.
Recover my contact lense and managed to get it back in place so now try to start the bike.......nope its dead won't fire up.

Thankfully my new battery and regulator mean its got plenty of charge.....Then look at the speedo and realise i'm out of fuel so switch to reserve and try again.....nothing.....SH1T needed to get to the office early to reboot a server before all the users get in.

Finally she fires into life, not sure why it took so long maybe cr@p in the fuel line.

Decide now to get petrol so double back to petrol station. Stop at the pay at the pump and the display goes blank. Walk to other pump and same. Voice crackles over the speaker to say they have problems and to use the original pump.

Fine.....have to wait 5 minutes for the pump to reboot. Start fuelling and am nearly done when this fiesta pulls in and then stops blocking the exit. Out crawls this chavette and knuckle drags her way to the shop. I'm watching this in disbelief as she gets a paper and fags then wanders back to the car spends another 5 minutes faffing about while a queue of cars builds up behind then finally f@cks off. All because she was too lazy to park properly.

/rant over deep breath and relax

Just 3 settings Off - Main - Reserve

Possibly a vacuum lock as when i popped the filler cap and gave it a shake everything started working again.

Just one of those mornings when if anything can go wrong it will.

Theres always tomorrow.
