I seem to have previously 'forced' a fairing screw into place and shredded any chance of it coming out easily or ever going back in at all. I wouldn't mind but it's the one bloody side panel screw that goes into the frame
What can I do to rectify this error of superior rushed stupidity? |

Isnt the problem that it wont come out??
Your going to have to remove it by some kind of force I guess, screw remover/ drill the end then mole grip etc., then you will need to re-tap it (a tap of the same size might re-new the thread) and if it dont work you might have to go a size up and then have to use a different fairing bolt ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille > SV1000S > Street Triple 765 RS |

Its where you drill out the old screw, and then use a cutting tool I forget if its the tap or the die, where by you cut a new thread for another sized screw, and just replace the fastner with a size of bolt/screw which the tap/die size you used. works pretty well. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
