Hi guys. Riding home tonight with my duck taped exhaust bracket (don't ask) I full beamed then the front headlights just totally cut out, no full or low beam at all.

All other lights worked, tail, brake etc even the little parking lights in the front too.

Obviously the fuse? I'm not good on electrical stuff. I take it if one bulb went it wouldn't take out the other but if fuse went or one bulb cause the fuse to go this would cause both lights to go.

Incidently I replaced a blown bulb on the rear tail the other day but that still works fine. I hope it's not connected to this.

Any ideas till I check the fuse box 2moro?

Kind regards.

Turns out the right hand headlight bulb blew and took the fuse with it (why would that be?)

I changed the fuse and the left headlamp working fine!

Tough, you mentioned it. What's with the duct taped exhaust bracket? Any pics?

Was fiddling with the exhaust bracket last week but forgot to tighten it up.

Went to work then realised it had totally departed my bike somewhere along the 25 mile commute to work.

Great now I got to get home with the exhaust holding it's own weight via the collector box, luckily it's carbon fibre so not too weighty. I took out my leather shoe lace and tied that round for a little support.

Too elasticated, it still bounced around too much so had to duck tape it up when I got home.

Unfortunately it must of cracked at the collector slightly from the shoelace bracket as it sounds a bit V-Twinish at the collector now.

No ones fault but my own though.

Oh and I'm still limping round the office here trying to keep my right shoe on my foot from lack of shoelace.

Unlucky. Any cracks will be easily welded so it's not too much to worry about but get a new hanger ASAP.
