we went to this beautiful country resteraunt, the service was excellent! would definatly go again... it was called ''hedgerow pheasantfuckery'' if you want to look it up.

we both had pheasant stew, although they werent plucked properly, it was still very dilectable.

on the way home however, there was much mirth and laughter when i noticed she had some pheasant stuck in between her teeth. ha ha har.

after this, the cheeky little minx sneezed, and the rest of the pheasant bounced off the mirror i was cunningly preening myself with, and then shot off my shoulder and onto the road.

moral of the story:
it can be fun to play with your food.

i think you were lucky, i hit a pigeon, and it took a huge chunk out of my fairing, and that was just a pigeon.

To be honest I suspect its possible you didnt actually hit a pheasant, as I would have thought it would do some damage but as they look like flight weathers, maybe you did literally wing it.

I'm surprised those SRADs don't suck the tarmac off the roads, in all fairness.

I hit a family of pheasants with my mondeo. The 2 chicks didn't do much damage, but the hen punched a hole in my bumper a foot wide. Absolutely trashed it. Couldn't even stop and collect the dead bird for lunch is it was just over the brow of a hill and if i'd stopped i probably would have caused an accident. Hit another pheasant earlier this year just after i'd changed my car. luckily a focus bumper is made of stronger stuff so only got a slight scratch to show this time. Bloke who was tailgating me got the shock of his life when the pheasant explosion appeared from the back of my car and hit his front grill. Arsehole. if he hadn't been driving so close i probably would have spotted the damn bird earlier and taken avoiding action.

Just my opinion but it is up there with putting your lid down crown first and press studs on visors.

I agree, it's far too close for a dogpoo/mouth interface for my liking.

I dined at a similar restaurant earlier in the year.

The one I went to had peacock and pigeon on the menu! Laughing

Merrily riding down a country lane somewhere near Alton Towers, I spotted a peacock on the opposite side of the road. It was obvious the peacock was very sad and wanted to commit suicide. After a good handful of front brake, said peacock dived into the road. Fortunately a van was coming the other way. The peacock ended up 'bursting' under the van's O/S front wheel. It went off like a bomb. I was coated in blood and feathers, and must of looked like I was in fancy dress.

After plucking most of the feathers out of my leathers, and carrying on my rather spirited ride, I came round an 80mph left hander, only to have a small bird fly from the left, just miss my visor and implanting itself beak first into my right hand shoulder!

It dropped out of my shoulder and landed on my mirror. Sick I had to wipe it off as I was riding. Not pheasant pleasant.

I got cracked in the top right of my head while I was overtaking someone at about 90mph, it was some fooking thump.

My mate caught one under his window wiper one day.

Back on topic. I thought pheasants were bigger than that or maybe your girlfriend is just fat.

that seems a bit strong for someone who doesnt like it when someone says he walks like a girl

why dish it out if you are so touchy, and a third of the ratings you have given out are 'abusive' when they clearly werent ?

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=1779404#1779404

to be honest, i cant be arsed to watch the vid to see if you do actually walk like a girl

I exploded a small bird at about a ton, hit it with my indicator + crash bung. Broke the indicator, but i think that makes it Bird 1 - Bike 1.

Was finding blood spatter and feathers inside toe fairings for ages after that Shocked
