I've tried to make sure that all the connectors are clean and all the wiring is tidy and in good nick, but I can't get rid of this problem;

When I'm riding along the l/h headlight (on dipped) flickers off briefly, every now and again. Quite disconcerting it is too. There's not a great deal of light that comes out of them in the first place, so losing half of it isn't good at all. It doesn't do it at all when on high beam, btw.

As i can't find any dodgy connections, bulbs look fine, etc, I'm thinking it may be because I have my InfoRad wired up to the same dipped circuit. I'm reluctant to unwire from there if possible, as it took a while to set it all up, and it's convenient (the led acts as a 'your lights are on' light).

So, before I have to rewire evewrything all over again, is this probably what's causing it do you think, or does the NSR have a common well-known fault that might be causing it?

Cheers!

How is the InfoRad wired into the circuit? If its by Scotchblock then you need hitting over the head with a sledge hammer as that will be the problem. If not check the bulb by swapping it anyway as I have known bulbs blow but still work as the filaments arc out

Err...I'll go get the hammer.... Embarassed

I guess I've got some rewiring to do over Chrimbo then. Think I'll do it proper properly, and solder the wires and sleeve them too. Hopefully that'll cure it, and if not I'll swap bulbs then.

Cheers, Fingalonga.

Edit Just realised that the scotchblocks are on the other headlamp, so it's probably isn't that.
