i may be wrong here
if u remove the baffles your bike will be a lot louder, i think they do hold some of the pressure, by removing this pressure the engine may loose power and will prolly be more noticable when going up hills and possibly harsh acceleration |

When a mate took his baffles out it sounded really loud but he complained of a bit less mid-range. Don't know if that was because his bike is only a 400 or that the bike itself is fucked, but hey ho ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F

It will make it louder, but I don't believe it will make your bike much slower, cos i don't think that's possible
Nah, I dont think it affects the perfomance that much. Zimma and Korn have done thier's and I dont think they've had problems |

Zimma didnt take the baffles out of his exhaust!!
Twas me and Kornel and it doesnt make a difference in power as far as i can tell, actully it helps a little bit the engine seems to breathe a lot better and is generally more happy oh and it sounds a *lot* better!! When you get stopped by the plod what can they say about noise when it says original Suzuki equipment on the pipe? |

Hi
Back preasure is important, but you need alot of tech info to work out how important. Often if you try this it will screw up the mid range power anyway (but it sounds faster so some people dont notice)
The EXUP valve is there to screw up the exhaust preasure waves at low revs so that they dont cause large flat spots when the cams and exhaust are setup for power at high revs
All the best
