looked at the 1981 ts 50er for my son
took bike out which is restricted struggled to rev over 6500 rev is this normal?
how easy to unrestrict bike to get at least 40mph cheapest way possible.

Hi mate, I have the same bike.

What condition is it in, as things like clogged exhaust, plug, filter, carb etc. wont be helping things at all. I've got quite a few new piston kits here if you need one, plus a shed full of parts too! Thumbs Up

Can scan any Haynes pages if you need. Just give us a shout. De-restricted they do go well for their age. Mine will indaicate 45-50 on the clocks and its just a standard lump with a gianelli pipe.
