Can it be repaired? I expect its likely to cost as much as a new TV Rolling Eyes its a 32 inch bush jobby.

Is this sort of accidental damage (from falling forward off its stand onto my bed) covered on the home insurance?

Any advice is much appreciated Confused

Give Bush a ring and ask them what it would cost. They will probably tell you to replace it though as most companies churn out so many products they don't have time for repairs but maybe that's just my cynicism. Smile

Also give your insurance a ring or check your policy documents to see if you are covered. Thumbs Up

I would do it through the insurance.

I stood on my laptop my accident a while back and cracked the LCD screen. I expected them to replace the whole laptop but they just installed a new screen.

Just paid the excess of £75 and I had my laptop back within 7 working days. Very Happy

One of my laptops was covered on home insurance. The cat jumped off the window sill onto my desk, landing on the closed laptop. Screen was blank after that, got no quiblles from the insurance company for the repair.

I wish !

My 37" Hannspree has just gone AGAIN for the second time in 9 months. The picture goes off but the sound stays on.
I called them yesterday and they're coming to pick it up. I asked about a replacement unit and was told no RTB only, atleast it has a 2 year warranty. Rolling Eyes

If you do get another check out Costco 3 yr no questions asked warranty we brought back a 60" rear projection Tv as it was burning out the bulbs far too quickly 2 years after it was bought.

costco- Whats wrong sir.
Me- Keeps burning out the bulbs probably a fan issue.
Costco- Would you like a refund as we do not stock this or would you like something else?
Me- I will take the 42" Toshiba Lcd please.

Easy Thumbs Up
