I really want to do a day out with a few friends on skid pan and go on an off road course (i.e 4x4 experience, etc) and probably on my own go for an offroad day for the bike.
Does anyone know anywhere decent that isnt too far from me. Prefered locations would be in surrey somewhere near caterham or within a 15 mile or so radius.
Thankyou.

i do some off roading myself when i'm not rebuilding the landie Laughing the best place to find local sites is either to google it or buy a copy of a 4x4 mag and check out the classifieds. i know two of the best sites i'm aware of is tixover quarry and sibbertoft quarry but there's bound to be loads local to you. also if you get in touch with a local enthusiasts club (back of mags or google again) you're bound to find a private course near you and they're very friendly. last one i went to taught me so much i had a blast. go for it. it's good fun but a bit addictive. it's an adrenaline rush like speeding on the roads however you're less likely to lose your licence Wink

i have tried google but seem to get ones that are too far away. Would be useful if they were closer but google seems to be failing me on that bit. i might ask around or look in mags like you said.
cheers.
