Road Census...

There's a huge road census thing going on around Bristol today and people are handing out questionnaires to drivers who are stopped at the red lights...I went to work on the bike today so they just ignored me Crying or Very sad

...but it was probably just as well Razz

...but I went to work at 7.30am this morning and they were there, and I've just returned at about 4pm, and they were still there.

It's a bit of a farce 'cos they can only hand things out when the lollipop is red.

Hehe...the "funny" thing was that the census people (plus a few coppers) setup camp around the area where I sped past yesterday Razz

Needless to say, I felt a bit sheepish Rolling Eyes

They did them on my journey to work last year. I got the leaflets on the bike a couple of time

They were doing it down here last year, but they were actually stopping ppl for it (they had police there). I never got stopped though.

Yea, we had one in Cardiff at a set of lights, needless to say they ignored me too - rather considerate of them as I was filtering and not paying enough attention and nearly ran one of them over who was hopping around between cars.... (my excuse, his flourescent orange tabard thingy was dirty...)
