If in a queue of traffic, it's good practise to leave junctions to the left clear?

When asked to pull over "safely to the left" is it necessary to indicate?

Should you continue to indcate left whilst you are stationary and waiting for the examiner to give you the word, then indicate right before joining road?

Yes, but it's not a requirement.

Yes, the examiner is just another road user so needs to know you're changing direction. In reality if there was no one about to see it, you don't need to.

No. Once you have pulled over, you aren't changing direction anymore. Make sure you do all your checks before you pull off again though.

No ( but you could put hazards on if you were in a place where you could be a hazard although if your instructor told you to pull over it will be in an area that is safe to do so).

When asked to pull over "safely to the left" is it necessary to indicate? - Make sure its never on any lines as you'd expect unless he says "I know theres yellow lines im fully aware of this and would like you to pull over as soon as possible" my instructor just taught me to keep going till theres something you find safe, so if you dont think its safe for a mile, you keep going for a mile Laughing

Should you continue to indcate left whilst you are stationary and waiting for the examiner to give you the word, then indicate right before joining road? - Mirror indicate lifesaver pull in, indicators off, to pull back out just do mirror, lifesaver and pull out?

I failed my test but on roundabouts so they might be of some help Laughing

Watch out you don't pull over in front of someone's driveway either, or less than 10 metres away from a junction. Thumbs Up

If you've pulled in for your u-turn, don't indicate out!

You can cover a junction to the left if you're in traffic, but the moment someone wants to actually use it, you're shafted. Pretend they're all box junctions and you won't go far wrong.

My examiner was, allegedly, *insanely* strict on inappropriate stopping. "Pull in, you say? Gosh, look at all the bus stops, driveways and pedestrian crossings just as you said that. What were the odds of that..." Wink
