I phoned up Fowlers in bristol for a new crank case cover for the right hand side and they quotes £207 inc. VAT..... Ouch! Anyone know of anyone who has one lying about?

Not that I can solve your problem, cos I have a Super Tenere in bits, but I've got one of them ebay trawling for listing things, searching for super teneres and bits thereof. Set up one of those, at least then you'll get daily reminders of what's come up on there, parts wise or otherwise.
