Hey guys, can any of you tell me if the following laptop is well spec'd for photoshop editingof RAW images?
It seems like a pretty decent deal to me with 4 gb ram & 2.5Ghz intel t9300 cpu, but i dont know much about the different processors available in the laptop market if im honest.

Asking here because i know i will get a speedy response one way or another, i think this deal may disapear quickly!

The weak point in terms of image processing is the gpu which isnt all that great but for the money i dont think you well get much better, processor and ram wise it should be fine.

Should be fine.

A good spec for the money.
Only a 14.1" screen though

I'd deffo go for one with a bigger screen. A friend of mine just bought a hp for £400 from pcworld of all places to replace her dv4000 which she dropped. that was slow editing even rotating pics in windows pic manager took a couple of seconds (single core pentium 1.8ghz) but the new "cheaper"(i think 2X2.4ghz) one is duel core 3 gig of ram and it does the Raw/HDR blending and filters just as fast as my quad core q6600 with 4 gig of ram and nvidia 8800gt. I dont think the gpu is so much of a problem for stills as it would be for video on the lap top.

Just my 2p's worth.....oh canon 30D and 40D are the cams taking the raws etc
