There is not much you can do to improve the performance of a 4-stroke 125. A different exhaust may improve things slightly, likewise a different carb, but you are talking minor improvements.

2-strokes can be derestricted to yield massive increases in performance, the theory of 2 stroke vs 4 stroke being that you can get twice the power ('ish) because the 2 stroke isnt wasting half the revs expelling exhaust gases.

You can get a 210cc kit for the DNA, that would improve performance I imagine.

yeah man , if they were any slower people would die of old age driving them home from work

runner engines fit almost straight in , instant power gain and also alot more tuneabilty , 172 kit 25mm carb and an exhaust to match , with a 180 transmission would be pushing close to 20bhp , or you could just put in a standar 180 lump if you dont want to go mad with the tuning, would hit 80mph and would be reliable Thumbs Up

dont bother tuning the 125 four stroke engine , 210 kit costs over 200 quid and if turns your crank to cheese there expensive , a bigger carb is something ridiculous like 100 quid and an exhasut is 200 + Neutral , a vxr 200 engine would cost the same or less than a 210 kit and would come with a carb and transmission to suit Wink

If you've got L plates then its illegal and they wouldn't be too happy... if they found out then you'd be in the poo too.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
