Yes, shame really, i'm a big prisoner fan too.
A mate's Dad knew Patrick McGoohan and claims that the prisoner was all his idea and McGoohan nicked it from him - guess we'll never know the truth now.

I'd recommend this highly as well, one of his earlier classic bad guy roles, still holds up well as a bloody good film, if you can overlook the 'sped up' timelapse effects to give the appearance of them all driving hell for leather.

It was a good series apart from the ending which was dire.

The gift shop in Portmerion sells loads of Prisoner memorabilia (unsurprisingly) Smile
