I my day a 4gb usb memory stick would have cost about 80 quid !!!

Now a reputable make delivered for £4.69p Shocked
I have ordered 2 - and will use them for backing up my improtant files instead of burning disks all the time.

Nice price, I've been thinking about getting another for a while now. I'm more tempted by an 8GB jobby delivered for a tenner though :-

May as well get the Maxell one I posted - for a quid less than the play.com stick.
The Maxell one looks ok anyway !

I just bought that 16GB USB pen drive from SVP. Superb value. Will now be able to back up my important files much easier.

My laptop only has a 32gb drive; this'll make life much easier Smile

It arrived today, seems a solid little thing. A quick test has it being written to at 1GB in 5 minutes, and reading from at 1GB in 1 minute, but that is on my clunky laptop which only has a 4200rpm disk that's stuffed to the gills. I don't know whether thats bad, or on par but either way I'm chuffed with the price for the capacity Thumbs Up

The main point is summed up by "price for the capacity".
I use mine simply in place of burning DVD / CD's ... and just back up my important files (email, favourites, docs, family pics, etc) each week or so.
Stuff the speed - chuck it in to copy all your files before you go out/to be ... then when you get back its all done.
(even written a nice little script that does it all for me Thumbs Up )

Glad you are happy with it - cant go wrong for a few fags and the odd pint in price. Very Happy

Recieved my 16GB bad boy today.

It only reads as 15GB on the system though, oh well.

Is the end of DVD-R's for me? Pretty much. Laughing
