well, bought this just before xmas, ran o.k but was rough around the edges, bit noisy, tappety etc so did a total strip down, tidied up all the wiring and then fitted some Dynas and taylor leads to help it along.
Then i bought a bandit set of headers which led to its own problems,so i had to then buy a bandit sump/oil pickup and then get some braids made up for the oil cooler to suit the new arrangement.
currently doing a caliper overhaul then it should be rideable,i hope.
after doing the badnit sump the oil pressure lite comes on at idle, ive been told this is the copper washer in the pan so have done the job 4 times,yes,removed/raplced the sumpand bits 4 times, very messy and annoing so hopefully this last time the process has been done right, very finiky way of doing it whoever designed this engine, the git !!
so,for some pics.......
from when i bought it to how it is now

Looks good and top marks for doing the work yourself
Not too keen on the seat unit, looks too 'low' imho and the bars would look better minus the brace + wheels look far too skinny
...aprt from that I like it ____________________ Ducati 996 Biposto
