I've found a site in glasgow that I would like to use to put a snack van on. Problem is I need to know if the road is adopted by the council to be able to do it. The bit of road is only about 5-10 mtrs long and was previously part of the main road, it is now surrounded by council owned land.
Do I have to apply to the land registry or would the council help me find the exact position of the site. The form for applying for a license asks for the exact position of the van, if i'm even a bit out they won't grant the licence. Basically who would be the best to contact and would it be free to find out.

Ask the Triads, you will need their protection anyway.

Why not attach an aerial map with your application showing the exact location of where you would be parking your van?

Split personality having an argument?

You need to check the Councils main map. It will be in the basement at the council offices and yes it is free.
