Garlic mayo is good, but not as good as mint mayo/yogurt and mint.

That stuff is great in a chip buttie. Thumbs Up

Make your own..

You need a food blender.
Yolks from 3 free-range organic eggs.
touch of lemon juice.
four cloves of garlic finely chopped ( actually garlic from a tube works better)
1/4 teaspoon of Colman's mustard powder ( this bonds water to oils)
Extra virgin olive oil

Blend all the ingredients except the oil
Start to drizzle in the oil whilst blending until it turns into mayo. If you do add too much oil just add another egg yolk.
Eat ASAP as it had no preservatives unlike the commercial stuff.

Buy your own..

You need a wallet.
A supermarket that sells Garlic Mayo.
Some fried chicken to dip it in.
An oven to cook chicken.

Go to shops with wallet.
Buy fried chicken and garlic mayonaisse.
Take it home and cook chicken. EAT
If you do add too much mayo to a bit of chicken just scrape it off.

I made the must beautiful sauce in the world the other dayy, born out of the misses obsession with mint sauce and mayo.

Mix the two, about 2:1 Mayo:Mint sauce, stir lots.

Beauty Thumbs Up

How old are you people!

I can't believe you can have got to any discernible age in life without knowing the joys of the holy trinity: Carbohydrate - Garlic - Mayo.

I must have visited kebab shops from too young an age Embarassed

Nothing beats a chicken tikka kebab, little bit of salad and a mahoosive amount of garlic mayo!

My local did their kababs in fresh naans, they had a tandor which cooked all the tikka meat and the bread. Very Happy

Geez, some people are so fussy about minced and compressed roadkill/reconstituted offal.

There is cheap meat, cheaper meat, then there is the meat they use for those rotary donner sicks - one of them costs ~£30 Very Happy

Once you've had Greek Gyros you never go back to that crap the Turks foist on us.

In Greece, you can actually see the cuts of pork on there.

And I stick to Souvlaki Kalimaki, which is just cubed pork on a skewer.

Gorgeous.

Back before I'd been to Greece though I did love a kebab meat and chips, assuming they had either garlic mayo or burger sauce.

Otherwise they could go jump.
