Does anyone have any info on these? There is one around my area for my kind of price, but I haven't seen that many of them around?

Performance wise : Are they the same as NSR, RS, Mito etc?

Parts wise : As there aren't that many around, what do you think getting parts would be like?

And also are they notorious for anything on them to go wrong that I should watch out for if I go to look at it?

Thanks in advance

Chris

Which model of TZR 125. There are at least 3 totally different bikes all called TZR125.

The original one came out in the UK in about 1987. Not a bad bike, but a bit dated. These got updated with a rear disk brake and different wheels a few years later.

There was also the Italian market TZR125. These came out in about 1990 and go very well although are meant to vibrate a bit. They were built by the Italian Yamaha importer and use Brembo brakes, Dellorto carb, etc.

There was also another model of TZR125 that was sold officially in the UK. These look OK ish, but not as good as the Italian market ones. These came out in the UK in something like 1993 (cannot remember exactly)

All the best

Keith

My flat mate had the italian TZR125R import... (mid 90s) except thta we never got the engine derestricted, it was generally really nice. Decent brakes, suspension frame etc.
Riding position wasn't /too/ bad, though a bit more achey than the NSR.
