This thread should be the official DAS price comparison thread. Should be good for new bikers.

All users need to specify is the the name of the company, region (e.g. London, but be as specific as you can), the cost of the test whether offer or fixed, and the company's contact details.

I'll begin:

Cost of DAS (until end of Jan):[

6 day novice course (includes CBT as do all of their courses but I guess this is deductable if you already have one) -£559 but second person on same training is FREE just pay test fee and bike hire of £39 per session (this is the same for all DAS courses);

5 day beginners course - £480;

4 day experienced riders - £399 (If two people do the course this could work out as £310 each)

This includes CBT, Bike & clothing Hire. I done my CBT with these guys and they're pretty sound. Aberdeen tends to be slightly more pricey as there isn't huge competition up here

Your intentions for this thread are noble, but I would imagine location is the priority for people booking a DAS. I mean, a DAS might be £100 cheaper in Plymouth than in Manchester, but you aren't going to travel 250 miles to do your training if you live in Manchester, so it's irrelevant.

For there to be a meaningful comparison, you would need to compare prices for DAS course in the same area. So you might as well just google bike schools in your area and check their websites or ring 'em up.

You'll be waiting an age for two people from the same area to post prices on here for you to compare.

How much cheaper would a DAS be without CBT? £100 cheaper i suppose?

Also, is it just me, but when I went to book at Camrider in London it said "sessions" rather than days, and those sessions only appear to be half days. Which make their prices not so cool as they first appear.

North London Motorcycle Training have booked me in for a 4 day course at £500, including test fee.
