Remember to ensure the needle on the clock is on the correct side of the zero pin before you reassemble it all again.

This way you will find both clocks work next time you use the bike.

I now have to remove the front plastic, both side plastics, both mirrors, disconnect all the front lights, remove the nose fairing and screen, detach the clockset and undo the back off them. I can then gently move the needle over the pin and reassemble it all again.

On the plus side, I was treated to a true comedy moment as I was going over a bit of emptyish dual carriageway. I decided to give it some full-bore-roar and was pleased to see the speedo needle bend itself against the pin before pinging past it and whizzing round to the correct position.

The tacho steadfastly refuses to do the same and I hit the rev limiter on a fluffed gear change so it looks like I'll be dismantling it all again.

I did that in my brother's car after fitting his new white dials.

I've been trying to get the odometer to count up on my bike.

The trip counter works but the odometer is stuck between .1 and .2 of a mile.

Took it apart, no obvious problems with the gears or evidence of tampering. Greased it all and it worked with a drill. Put it back together, went out for a blast and next time it rolled to .1 it stuck again Evil or Very Mad
