that is a joke, assylum seeking pisses me off more than anything about this country. line them up and push them onto a boat and send em back where they came from. cos to hire boats and send em home £5million MAX, cost for them to live here with free house car etc etc £billions over the next 10 years or wateva. its not them personally just WHY BRITAIN? cos we are a bunch of soft tarts apparantly. fuck labour off!

Hi

Maybe I am not in the majority here, but I have nothing against genuine assylum seekers. A few years back I worked with a couple who had fled from Coatia during the civil war. They would love to have gone back to their home if it was safe to.

The problem seems to be that there are a very large number of are just trying it on for the benefits, and I think we need to seperate these from those in genuine need., and we need to do that faster. In other words we need to spend more money in the short term processing applications, and aim for a turn around in as short a time as possible (maybe 2 months or so, with appeals being dealt with even more quickly).

An alternative is to hand the whole policy over to the EU, and let all the EU countries fund the maintenance of assylum seekers from a central fund. This way there would be no advantage to getting into the UK than into any other European country (and most of which have open borders anyway).

All the best

Keith

Neither do alot of people.

It's the ones coming just for the hand outs that are the problem.

My question is this...

Refugees run from oppression and all that right? and according to EU law they should claim asylum at the first 'safe' country they get to.

Now last time i checked to get to the UK from somewhere like iraq or thereabouts where they come from you had to either come round by sea (hardly any do that compared to the next way) or travel on land through europe and cross the channel.

I'm pretty sure France, Germany, Spain and all the other countrys they go through are all classed as 'Safe' so we shouldnt be getting any asylum seekers. Except the ones were oblidged to take from other EU countrys under the EU Treaties.

But once again it's not PC to say 'Get the fuck out you scrounging bastards'

There is nothing wrong with genuine migration. There are so many jobs that british people just will not do, and they are willing to do, and thus filling a large part of the lower employment sector.

However people just milking the system like that is crap

So why not treat the whole thing from a central European point. After all why should the (for example) Italians spend vast sums catching illegal immigrants if those immigrants immediatly leave the country and come to the UK.

Deal with the whole lot (patrolling of borders, processing of applications and support for those being processed) from one central organisation, funded from the EU so that no one country is getting him unfairly for the costs

All the best

Australia lets in an awful lot of asylum seekers. From memory they let in more (per head of existing population) than the UK does.

All the best

Because it will never work like that.

/me points to things like UK's EU membership conributions of around 90 million?(/me cant remember correctly) and taking something like 10?

While somewhere like portugal takes 80 million and gives nothing

*figures not accurate coz i cant remember total amounts but you get the idea.

If we fled a war in our country isn't it classed as treason?
Apply the same rules and hang the fuckers Very Happy
Australia does let in way more refugees than us, most of them illegal. But they have a fraction per-habitable-square-mile of the amount we have.
I think it's shocking how we issue them with "Asylum" and then tell them they can't work!!

Fuck the EU Very Happy we should form our own continent. We (I) don't want to be associated with pussies like the french! I always remember my uncle telling me about his postman, on his road there lived an asian family (don't know excatly what race) the postman used to have a handful of Giro's(sp?) to the same home. One man, one woman and one girl. there were over 7 books. these are the people we must rid of. Until we have got rid of these we should put up a barrier telling them where to go.

as they havent commited treason.... they have stood up to their goverments (normally in dictaroships) and said enough is enough...now in dictatorships for saying things like that will get u executed they dont have the choice of free will....anyways to cut short its not the same as treason

That's called running away, not standing up. For years countries have had revolutions, nowadays the "Asylum States" are in no fear or being reformed becaus the people just move away from the problem.

people claim money off the dole and stuff like that which is stupid to combat this i think.... we should pay people without a job dole money but like they have it in america only do this for a set period of time....so this way it will weed out most people who just spend their whole life on the dole and are eating up the taxes which i pay.

Quite a few benefits are limited in the time you can get them.
umm as for the actual assylum and stuff.... well i think they should round them up and have a place for them in the country side.... till they are 'processed' once their story is FULLY checked out then they can be integrated with the rest of us in the citys?
On this I agree, but it is currently regarded as being against their human rights. However I think it is what the Australians do

All the best
