Its no surprise for her, we just wanted to come to London and have some fun. We'd rather spend the money on a day out and some fun at night. Not really fussed about the hotel but thought maybe some of you will have some suggestions.

There is always the Hotel F1 in IG11 7BA aout 10 miles away I suppose you could tube in and tube out....

Though staying in Hotel F1s in France they are a bit like prisons tbh and don't have toilets/bathrooms in the rooms.

But for £32 ..... its ok.

The same company also does accor hotels for £65 a night with ensuite, and they have them all over london.

Thats not even anywhere NEAR a London tube, that place. Its at least a 20 minute walk to Barking tube station from there. With a vehicle I suppose its not bad, cos its right on the north circ.

Although there are a couple of other hotels there which are WAY better than the F1 (no bathroom? do they still do hotels like that, then? Shocked ). I stayed at the Ibis in that same cluster of hotels, once, and that had bathrooms in the room for not much more than about £50 a night.

But there must be places closer in, and definitely closer to the tube.

Cromwell Crown Hotel, in Kensington at £55 per night for a double room. Thumbs Up

When I work in London I stay here. https://www.a1tourism.com/uk/st-james.html

It's clean, tidy and in an ok location that's in Zone for travel.

I know it's not that close to where you want but I know how hard it can be finding a good value hotel in London.

Premier Inn seem to have quite a few rooms for about £70 on V-Day. Probably the best you are gonna get.
