right here goes:

there is a ktm 520 exc in the lbs, 2002 model. few little extra's like excel/talon wheels etc up at £2195.

now i have been offered a px on my R6 + £100 of the queens finest for this exc

im just wondering about what they are like, i've had a few 2stroke trials machines before and i've had use of my dad's DRZ.

anyone know about how often servicing is, how many hours for what doing?

anyone got one? what are they like to live with? would be used for green laning and a start into enduro's/hare + hounds and possibly a tiny bit of road work.

most people have said they are awesome bikes if a little too punchy.

Any thoughts?

520's a 4stroke mate. I'd run away at that price for a 4stroke!

Infact i'd never buy a 4 stroke enduro bike second hand. I think that was carbed aswell so you'd have no method od knowing how long it'd been ran for.

I got a 2003 exc 200 (2t) for 1200 the other day with a whole set of fairings spare, new chain + sprockets and 2 gnarly exhausts. Too much IMO!
