Hi all,

When I got my rs125 it had an MOT fail back in Nov 2008, sorted out the rest of it now but need to set the headlight aim. I know where the adjuster is but I don't really know how to set it correctly so its not too low or high.

Is this something I can do at home? Or shall I just wait until MOT time and adjust it? As I know it has to be pretty precise.

Ta,
Jack

Mine failed on that once too, the guy told me to go home and do the it myself as it failed on a few things, to make sure your headlight is ok you measure from the ground to the centre of the headlight and draw a line about a foot long the same height on a wall. Now position the bike about 2 feet from the wall and make sure that low beam shines a semi circle just under the line and full beam completes the circle on top of the line.
