i can get a cbr600 or cb900 limp of the same year for my 99 hornet but will they fit???
as i dont what to get one then it dont does any one know or had a go at it

CBR6 will fit if it's a 95-98 steel framed engine.
The output shaft will need to be changed for a longer one, and you'll need to use the CBR carbs, or get hold of a hornet head and carbs.
Don't know about the CB9 motor, although I've heard they will fit. You'll need a different CDI though, since the 600 CDI will allow the engine to rev too high. ____________________ My Flickr |

I suspect the CB9 lump would be less hassle. Since you'd just need the carbs and CDI as oppose to having to dick about with the head, carbs etc. on the CBR lump.
There are usually plenty of hornet lumps kicking about to be honest, that would be easiest. ____________________ My Flickr |
