Hi all,

Trying to fit a Skidmarx hugger to my F3, bought off of ebay without the fixing bracket - ordered the fixing braket from Skidmarx.

Tried fitting it the other day, said to bolt the bracket to the right hand rear swingarm bobbin hole (outside rather than inside).

Remove the existing chainguard.

Put hugger in place - now this is where the problem lies, I'm not sure the bracket they've sent me is the correct one as it seems a little short. Plus the rear brake line is not avoidable.

Has anyone else had issues with fitting a skidmarx to a ZX6R f3, it is defo the right hugger came off an F1 model?

Thanks in advance

Yeah, i had a skidmarx one on my old bike. Being lazy, i just let the hugger rest on the swing arm, so it literally HUGGED the tyre! Worst comes to worst, you can fashion together a bracket out of soft steel or scrap, that's what I'd be doing anyway!
