right here goes:

there is a ktm 520 exc in the lbs, 2002 model. few little extra's like excel/talon wheels etc up at £2195.

now i have been offered a px on my R6 + £100 of the queens finest for this exc

im just wondering about what they are like, i've had a few 2stroke trials machines before and i've had use of my dad's DRZ.

anyone know about how often servicing is, how many hours for what doing?

anyone got one? what are they like to live with? would be used for green laning and a start into enduro's/hare + hounds and possibly a tiny bit of road work.

most people have said they are awesome bikes if a little too punchy.

Any thoughts?

(yes it is also posted up in general bike as some people dont come in here)

I rode one recently in the desert in Dubai. I loved it. Can't tell you much more than that, made me consider living with a 4 banger Shocked .

Sounds too much money for an 02 model to me, though I'm not that up on prices.
Is it supermoto wheels, enduro or both?

For servicing, see the KTM website.

They are very fast off-road machines, but having owned a similar bike (Hussy 501) I think I'm sticking to my strokers these days. More fun, less maintenance.

its an enduro

no sm wheels

well i thought about a 2stroke but the only half decent off-road place in/around bradford is RAS sport and they don't really do road to off-road exchanges pure offroad only.

as i'd love a TM 300.

i tried checking the KTM website but its only got 03 525 onwards. Sad
