Im doing a bit of research for my next bike (hopefully if a pass my test next friday Praying ) What is the going rate for a second hand Monster S2 or the bigger engined ones? Also where is a good place to look for them as I can't find many on bike trader.

By the way i'm not completely set on getting a Monster its just an option at the moment Smile

No idea on prices mate, but dont let people fool you into thinking that you cant service them yourself at home.
I've just recently worked on one - valve clearances and belts change, and its not hard at all once you figure out how the desmo system works.
I quite fancy one myself now actually...

The reason i'm considering one it because their not overly powerful so would make a decent first big bike and the S2 is just Drooling

It's good to know that it can be serviced at home because I prefer it as I know how the job has been done and you get to learn more about your bike Wink

i nearly bought a 1995 M600 for £900 before i got my GSXR, but thats the cheapest ive ever seen.
